Tommy Lofgren (MA, LMHC, NCC) has been in the counseling field since January 2020, when he started his internship in Kennewick, WA. Tommy graduated with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Union Institute and University, located in Cincinnati, OH (December 2021). Passionate about helping individuals heal through attachment wounds and trauma, he dedicated time and continued effort in starting his own private practice, Cultivate Connection Counseling, alongside his fiance, Luis Madrigal (MA, LMHC). Since December 2020, they've both provided a healing space to share their skills and relationship tools to others in the community.

Tommy has valued couples work through the application of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, completing the externship and core skills training, which he completed in 2021. He is excited to offer more individuals and couples tools that they can incorporate into their relationships, whether they're stepping into an office space with a therapist, or they're working in the comfort of their own home. It is his hope, alongside his partner, to share the valuable knowledge and experience they've cultivated in their own practice with those that are needing the additional support and resource in their own lives.

"You can be comfortable knowing that all of the dust that has collected on the windowsill of your life will soon be touched, so that even if more dust collects thereafter, you will know how to clean the surface moving forward." - Tommy Lofgren, MA, LMHC, NCC
